The objectives of this research are to propose a new impact response corridor of the ISO legform impactor and to understand the biofidelity of the current legforrn impactors developed by TRL and JARI.
The latest data obtained from Post Mortem Human Subject (PMHS) knee impact test were analyzed for the proposal, and biofidelity legforrn impact tests were conducted using current Iegform impactors.
New normalized biofideiic conidors of impact foroe correspond to AM50 are proposed. The impact test results indicate the current legforrn impactors do not have human knee biofidelity.
The current Iegfonn impactor design should be improved with respect to the biofidelic response.
