The purpose of this work is to find the effect of the low ionization potential contaminants on the transport properties of thermal. To achieve this goal, a computer program is being developed. The program calculates the transport properties for any given mixture for a temperature range of 1000,25000 K and a recommended pressure range of 0.1,10 atm. Sample calculations for a mixture of Argon and Copper, and Nitrogen and Copper is being done. The percentage of Copper varies between 0. to 5. percent. The results indicate that the effect of such an amount of Copper is a significant increase in the electron properties in the temperature range of 5000,7000 K, but virtually no change in the heavy particle properties.
