Injuries of the Lisfranc’s joint are not so common, but in most of cases they are misdiagnosed. This have been changed by better diagnostic procedures, CT scan and MRI in some of the cases. The num ber of pa tients in creases and this is of im por tance, due to the men tioned over looked cases. The sur gi cal treat ment is pref er a ble, either within few days or postponed for a7-10 days in aim to oedema subside. Intraoperative fluoroscopy is mandatory and stable fixation is better for the first three metatarsal bones, while the lateral two MT bones could be stabilized by Kirschner wires. Prolonged nonweight beairing is prescribed as well as physical ther apy if one should obtain favorable outcome.
