Abstract
Two large anesthetized chimpanzees were exposed to −150 Gx ("eyeballs out"). Both were restrained by contour supports of synthetic foam material. Both survived the experience with minor injuries, demonstrating the increased tolerance to impact provided by whole body restraint systems.
