This paper deals with the influence of an outrigger on roll stability of a load dependent LCV (light commercial vehicle), since they are frequently inclined in rollover accidents because of the high CG (centre of gravity), inaccurate loading. That’s why, in recent years, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) function has also been integrated in them. Our outrigger based rollover controllers (that contain 1 support and 2 supports per side) were realized, simulated to assess objectively and the influence of the manoeuvres has been tested on the dynamic simulator via questionnaire as a subjective evaluation. Just because not only the controller but also the reactions of the driver will influence the stability.
